I love Julep's Secret Store. It only exists for a small timeframe each month. But you can obtain some of Julep's newer and older colors very inexpensively. It pops up for non-subscribers usually within the first three to four days of the month, but for Julep Mavens, it comes much sooner and they are notified by email when they can enter the Secret Store.
I really hit the jackpot when I entered the Secret Store this month. I applied three coats of each and took photos each layer because I liked Kayla even at her sheerest. From left to right in the below pictures.
Ada - Bright rhubarb with a fizzy finish!
Ada is a really interesting formula. Like a dark raspberry with white specks. How the white stays white is a mystery to me. The texture is that of a fine glitter. I picked this one up for $6.99.
Kayla - Electric iris sheer with violet sheen.
I'd been eyeing Kayla for quite some time, but it's never been on sale. However... using a coupon code I found online (get a free polish with any purchase over $15), I figured this was the time to get it. Kayla is simply lovely, however many coats you apply and has a nice smooth sheen. Normally $14, I got it free.
Lucky - Kelly green and gold coin multi-dimensional, full coverage glitter.
Lucky has been on my wishlist since last year. It was retired but I guess brought back from the "vault" for St. Patrick's Day. Anyway, it was available in the store for $9.99 so I snatched it up. This glitter needs no undercoat. It works well on its own.
I wish I could tell you when the Julep Secret Store is open, but I usually have to troll Google and the Julep website for a few days before I can find it. If you do find it though, you'll be delighted by the selection. Good luck!
